The last information is sales in January 2026 were the second best selling month since the month the first issue was published. Truly amazing. Just wanted to say I’ve got all your magazines and have enjoyed them but in in the one you call the peplum movies primer, under biblical films. There is a mistake I feel the need to correct. You say that we only know about Barabbas because he was crucified next to Jesus. He wasn’t. Not only was he not crucified next to Jesus. He wasn’t crucified at all. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John gospels makes it plain that
Pilate released Barabbas to the crowd before Jesus was taken away to be flogged.
One other thing is that you mention a film called adventures of Robin Hood and say 1939. I don’t know if you mean the adventures Robin Hood that had Errol Flynn in it or not, but if you did it was released in July of 1938.
Yes you’re correct. Barabbas was released by a vote.
As for ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD, yes, the year is 1938.
